Nebojša is one of the founders of the Centre for European Policy. He participated in the negotiations for the conclusion of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), and as a member of the Core Negotiating Team for Serbia’s accession to the European Union, he was responsible for coordinating negotiations in Chapters 1, 3, and 28.
As Assistant Minister of Trade and Services, he headed the Sector for International Cooperation and European Integration. He contributed to the development of a large number of legal documents and regulations, including the National Programme for the Integration of Serbia into the EU (NPI), the Trade Development Strategy of Serbia, the Law on General Product Safety, the Law on Protection of Competition, the Law on Trade, and the Law on Consumer Protection, among others.
He worked as a legal advisor in the private sector and later in the Government’s Office for European Integration. Over the course of his professional career, he has worked as an expert or manager on numerous projects with organizations such as UNDP, the EU, the World Bank, GIZ, and USAID, as well as with many other international and donor organizations.
He coordinated the work of the National Convention on the European Union across several chapters. Nebojša graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, and obtained a Master’s degree in European Union Law and International Business Law from the European Center for Peace and Development of the United Nations University for Peace.
