• Nenad Šebek

    Nenad Sebek is a journalist and media communications expert with over 27 years of relevant journalistic experience obtained in Southeast Europe, the EU, USA and Russia. He has conceived and led the strategic planning and implementation of Communication activities for several international organisations including the CDRSEE, the Regional Cooperation Council and the Heinrich Boell Foundation. He is a noted BBC Journalist and Foreign Correspondent with outstanding reporting, writing, editing and training skills fine-tuned during 17 years with the world’s finest public broadcaster. Nenad is an experienced trainer, teacher, evaluator and mentor in journalism, communications and civil society. He has over 14 years of experience in leading multinational teams in large cross-border projects fostering media freedoms, democratisation and reconciliation. He is an outstanding keynote speaker and moderator with extensive experience at major international events including ones held in the European Parliament, European Commission, NATO Parliamentary assembly etc. He teaches “Media and Human rights” & “Project development” and mentors students at Vienna University (Faculty of Law, MA in Human Rights) since 2013 and taught journalism at the American College of Thessaloniki (2003-2007). Nenad started his journalistic career in Radio Belgrade, continued in the BBC and then was in executive positions in CSOs until going freelance in 2018 as a media, communications and civil society consultant with his own company, NSolutions.
