Joining CEP as a research intern in April 2026, Casper's research interests include EU decision-making, European integration, electoral integrity, and transparency and anti-corruption policy. His professional background spans the European Parliament, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and civil society. Having studied at the College of Europe, University College Groningen, and Sciences Po Aix, he enjoys working most where policy analysis meets direct engagement with people and institutions on the ground. A serial expat and language learning enthusiast, he has lived and worked across Europe, Morocco, and Canada, and is currently based in Belgrade. When he's not in the office, you can find him biking around the city or photosynthesizing on a sunny terrace.
