Marija joined CEP team in June 2020 as a Project Assistant, having completed a two-month internship. She obtained her Master’s (MSc) degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she studied EU Politics and specialised in Policy Making and Public Policy in the EU. Marija wrote her Master’s Dissertation on The EU Accession Process and Europeanisation of Domestic Politics: The Case of Freedom of Expression and Information in Serbia. She obtained her Bachelor’s (BA Hons) degree in Politics from Queen Mary University of London. Marija is an alumna of the HMC (The Headmasters and Headmistresses Conference) programme through which she received a scholarship and finished high school in the UK. During her studies, she worked in the private sector in Human Resources and Digital Communications, and did charity work. Also, over the summer, she interned for a Member of the Serbian National Assembly, active in the European Integration Committee. Besides native Serbian, Marija speaks fluent English and has an intermediate knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
