Fitim Gashi is a journalist and researcher specializing in political, social and security issues, as well as exposing disinformation in Kosovo and the region. For the past three years, he has served as Project Lead for Anti-Disinformation at Sbunker, part of the Western Balkans Anti-Disinformation Hub, overseeing project management and research/editorial methodologies. He is currently the Executive Director of Sbunker.
With over 17 years in journalism, including 13 years as a senior journalist at KOHA Media (KTV and Koha Ditore), Gashi has authored numerous investigative articles on political, security, social and inter-ethnic issues.
Fitim Gashi’s investigative journalism has been recognized with a number of prestigious domestic and international awards, reflecting his commitment to public-interest reporting, accountability and social cohesion.
He holds a Master’s in Political Science and Public Administration, is a Fulbright alumnus, and has participated in other international programs and study visits, including in conflict-affected regions such as Ukraine.
