Webinar – Enlargement Package 2026: Brussels Meets the Western Balkans

Enlargement Package 2026: Brussels Meets the Western Balkans is a public event on the European Commission’s latest assessment of the region’s progress and what it means for the year ahead. Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos (TBC) will deliver a keynote on the Commission’s priorities and challenges shaping the 2026 Enlargement Package, with insights into how these will influence the future direction of EU enlargement.

A panel of experts from the Think for Europe Network (TEN) will follow, with representatives of the European Policy Centre (CEP, Belgrade), Institute for Mediation and Democracy (IDM, Tirana), the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI, Sarajevo), the Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS, Pristina), and the European Policy Institute (EPI, Skopje) and Institute Alternative (IA, Podgorica). They will discuss how the Package is seen by Western Balkan think tanks and what it will take to turn recommendations into reforms. The discussion will be moderated by Strahinja Subotić from CEP.

The event will take place on 5 November 2026; the exact time will be confirmed soon.
