European Policy Centre (CEP) is among the signatories of the Platform for Monitoring the Implementation of the Economic Reform Programme (ERP) and the Employment and Social Policy Reform Programme (ESRP) for the 2018 – 2020 period. In the meeting that was held on the 12th of September in Belgrade, the Serbian government officials, together with representatives of four civil society organisations members of the National Convention on the EU (NCEU) – CEP, Center for Democracy Foundation, European Movement in Serbia i National Alliance for Local Eonomic Development (NALED) signed the Platform document and showed commitment to take responsibility for mutual cooperation on the priorities enshrined in the document.
ERP and ESRP are the main mechanisms for dialogue about social policy and employment in the process of European integration. Collectively, ERP and ESPR have brought together the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit, and the National Convention on the EU. The objective of the Platform is to establish an effective dialogue between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the civil society in the Republic of Serbia about the implementation of the key reform measures for the Republic of Serbia’s economic and social development, contained in the relevant areas of the ERP and the ESRP.
