Second Plenary Session of the Intersectoral Working Group for Monitoring the Implementation of Reform Agenda of the Republic of Serbia (IWG)

On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, the second plenary session of the Intersectoral Working Group for Monitoring the Implementation of the Reform Agenda of the Republic of Serbia (IWG) will be held in Belgrade. The meeting is organised by the National Convention on the European Union (NCEU) and the European Policy Centre (CEP), with the support of the European Union and the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans (OSF-WB).

The event will bring together representatives of civil society organisations, public institutions and the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia. The central focus of the session will be the presentation and discussion of the IWG’s First Monitoring Report on the Implementation of the Reform Agenda of the Republic of Serbia.

Participants will be introduced to the report’s key findings regarding progress in achieving reform steps, financial implementation and compliance with payment conditions, as well as the IWG’s recommendations addressed to the Government of Serbia and the European Commission. The discussion will also explore future priorities and next steps in monitoring the implementation of reforms.

A detailed overview of the report’s key findings will be available below. The full report, in Serbian and English, will soon be published on the website of the National Convention on the European Union.

The report was developed within the project “RA Connect: From National Civil Society Oversight to Regional Peer Learning”, implemented by the National Convention on the European Union and the European Policy Centre (CEP – Belgrade) as an implementing partner. The project is funded by the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans.
