From September till December 2017, CEP gave its contribution and help Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit (SIPRU) to achieve that policy-making relevant to social inclusion become better coordinated within central government and to improve monitoring of policy implementation and use of funds. In order to strengthen the capacities of civil society for informed participation in the process of development, implementation and monitoring the above-mentioned ERP priority structural reforms and improve the communication between the Government and CSOs in this process, in the following period we regularly communicated with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy and SIPRU. CEP also organised consultations and workshops, meetings of relevant Working groups of the National Convention on the EU (NCEU), worked on the dissemination of online materials (infographics, presentations and reports) as well as the dissemination of useful information through social networks, our website and the media.

European Policy Centre (CEP) is also among the signatories (within NCEU) of the Platform for Monitoring the Implementation of the next ERP (2018-2020) and the Employment and Social Policy Reform Programme (ESRP).

Članak Coordination of monitoring the implementation of Economic Reform Programme (ERP) in the area of four priority structural reforms se pojavljuje prvo na European Policy Centre.

The project lasted six months and comprised a series of activities aimed at conceptualising CEPS WeB. These activities proceeded mainly through interactive workshops between the TEN member organisations and their associates in the process of joining. A public event was organised in the last month of the project, to present the final deliverable of collaborative effort during and between the workshops – CEPS WeB position paper. In addition, research of comparative good practices of establishing centres of excellence focusing on policymaking systems and processes in Europe and worldwide was performed.

This project was implemented by the Think for Europe Network (TEN) and financed under the framework of the Regional Research Promotion Programme (RRPP). The RRPP is coordinated and operated by the Interfaculty Institute for Central and Eastern Europe (IICEE) at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). The programme was fully funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

The general objectives:
1) To undertake analysis of the relationship between performance audit and evaluation and
2) To give recommendations for introduction of efficient and effective evaluation system incorporating performance audit results.

Specific goals:
1) To analyse the development of state audit institutions (SAIs) conducting performance audit in 3 new EU member states & 3 old EU member states;
2) To analyse the development of policy evaluation within ministerial departments in in 3 new EU member states & 3 old EU member states;
3) To examine experiences of linking the functions of performance audit and policy evaluation in 3 new EU member states & 3 old EU member states;
4) To investigate the current situation and resources available in performance audit and policy evaluation in the consortium countries;
5) To comparatively assess applicable methods of correlating performance audit and policy evaluation;
6) To provide recommendations and policy options for the 3 selected Western Balkans countries.
