The workshop took place from 26. to 29. June in Mokrin, Serbia.
The aim of the workshop was to familiarise to the representatives of the CSOs with Serbia’s accession process to the European Union, with a focus on Chapter 27 – Environment.
The speakers were Ola Andersen, an expert from the Swedish Embassy, prof. Tanja Miščević, Head of Negotiating Team for Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the EU, doc. Dr. Mirjana Drenovak-Ivanović, a member of the Negotiating team for Chapter 27, and CEP Programme Director Milena Lazarević, who talked about the process of creating public policies, as well as about the demands that come under the EU accession process. She used the “World Café” method and with her help, participants identified key issues and problems, defined responsible actors, suggested solutions and sources of funding for implementation of those solutions.
The workshop was realized within the framework of the CSOnnect project “Environmental Civil Society Support Programme for Serbia”, funded by the Swedish International Development Agency – Sida. The workshop was organised by the Regional Environment Center – REC, and CEP was co-organisator.
